Feliway is a synthetic copy of a feline pheromone that has a calming effect on cats and helps decrease stress. Cats use pheromones to mark their territory as a safe place; Feliway helps create a state of security in new and perceived “unsafe” environments—such as a carrier or veterinary hospital—by imitating these same pheromones.
