Hi, I'm Dr. Michele Drake. Good morning everyone on this cold frosty morning here Friday, and just wanted to update you at the Drake Center on what we're doing here to make sure that we're here for you and your pets. We are continuing to be open seven days a week, and again our doctors always take calls until 10:00 at night for our clients.

We are providing a safe as possible of an environment for you and for your pets and obviously for my staff also. I am very concerned with the safety of my staff. So we have some really great control of keeping the safe distance between certainly for you guys and for us also. Also just the amount of disinfecting that's going on in the hospital. We've always been very good and very clean in this hospital, but we're extra good about that right now.

The hand washing. The amount of hand washing going on here is crazy, and disinfecting is really pretty stringent. We're providing a really safe environment for your pets and taking great care of them.

Just to let you know, we're here for you guys. I do think the cases in San Diego are going to continue to increase for a little while. We're going to see a little bit of a curve go like this hopefully, so please be safe at home. And most importantly if you guys are going to bring anyone in, we want to make sure that no one that comes to the hospital has any kind of signs of illness. I think the chance of transmission between anybody is very small with a curbside service but still we'd strongly request that no one come at all to the hospital or drive your car, bring your pet if you're having any kind of outburst of respiratory signs because we have really want to keep my staff's very safe during this time.

And we're doing the same thing here. If anybody has any kind of signs at all, they're not coming to work. We're being very stringent on that, and we'd ask the same of you guys. Again we're here to take care of your dogs and cats, answer questions. We're on the phone and we are here full staff seven days a week.
