Though she's been in service since August, we are proud to announce that our autism facility dog, Drake, officially graduated alongside her trainer, Susie, and several other teams in Good Dog! Autism Companions' inaugural ceremony this May. We are so proud of them!
The graduation, which was held at National University in La Jolla, featured emotional testimonials from families living with autism and Susie, who explained the benefits of Drake's service work at Comprehensive Autism Center in Oceanside. One child who attends the center also spoke about what it has been like have Drake as part of his regular therapy.
We were so happy to have the opportunity to be a part of this special day. It is truly amazing to see what these dogs mean to so many children and families.
