Let’s face it: All cats have a little Garfield in them. We love to eat, sleep and then eat some more.
I will admit that I find devious ways to steal food around The Drake Center. I am a kibble man. I love kibbles of all sizes and flavors. And I love to outsmart the humans in order to get them. When I do not get what I consider enough food, I steal it.
The best place to steal food has always been the food closet at The Drake Center. This closet houses an amazing buffet of flavors. Salmon, duck, chicken…I love to try them all!
Unfortunately, the gals up front got tired of catching me in the closet and had a door put on it. Now I have to be even more devious and find ways to distract the front staff. While they are busy getting food for clients, I sneak in before they close the door. Then I am trapped in a closet of goodness.
Our other house cat, Maxine, likes to eat whatever the humans are having for lunch. She rarely steals, but because she is so cute, everyone gives her a bite of their lunch. Personally, I find stealing much more gratifying.
