
Board-Certified Veterinary Cardiologist Mobile Cardiology Specialist
Dr. Kevin Render is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist and the founder of Render HeartCare, a mobile cardiology service based in San Diego, CA. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2009, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 2013. At Cornell, he was honored with the prestigious Dorothy Sullivan Prize for his outstanding outreach efforts.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Render completed a yearlong internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, a yearlong internship in small animal cardiology at MedVet Columbus, and a three-year residency in small animal cardiology at MedVet Columbus in Worthington, OH.
Dr. Render brings a wealth of expertise to the field and is especially interested in congenital heart defects and cardiac tumor evaluations.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Render enjoys watching sports, cooking shows, and movies - especially sports comedies.
