Hi, I'm Dr. Michele Drake from the Drake Center. I'm here today just to share with you what we're doing this week. It's Drake Center team appreciation week. We're just going to do a special appreciation on a daily basis for our team. Our mission here is to provide the best medicine and surgery in a compassionate environment and unsurpassed customer service for our clients. I think our staff, they rise to that occasion every single day. That's really what brings them to the Drake Center and what keeps them bonded to this practice is that that's our mission in everything we do is really goes behind that statement.
Our front staff is here to answer your questions, answer your phone calls, and direct you to the best appointment time possible for you, make sure you have what you need as far as prescriptions and getting communication directed to you as best we can. Our back staff is here to provide you with additional education in addition with the doctors, but also just amazing care that goes on in the back of our hospital that you may not be here when we're having surgery down in your pet, but our staff is amazing with the care that they provide every day from making sure that your pet stays warm all the time, that we keep their stress down always, that we provide extra blankets and love. On recovery of anesthesia, we try to be holding cradling your pet while they wake up from anesthesia. That's something that's really unique. I think that only occurs here because we have an amazing staff who really care a lot about your pet.
Another special aspect of the Drake Center doctors is that we work closely with all the local specialists. Our doctors are super passionate about making sure that you know what your options are as far as the very best option. That quite often means, even if we just have a phone call with a specialist to make sure that we have your dog on the perfect medication or your cat, dealing with whatever illness they're dealing with. We do work closely with them, so that we can provide the best care. Even if your pet doesn't have a need for a specialist, the doctor's here work together as a team, always to provide the best medicine and surgery.
In closing, I'm super proud of our team at the Drake Center. They work really hard every day to provide the very best for your pet. I hope you can see that every time you come into the Drake Center.
